Tissues n' issues.

Just sitting here... bored and eating ginger snaps. Started thinking about all the things people will tell me I'm wrong to like. Stuff people'ul scold me for or suddenly look at me differently after knowing.
Just to preface my little list. These are important things and stupid things, things that go both ways, things that might not make sense to anyone but me. Either way just an experiment.
-Final Fantasy VII is my favorite Squaresoft game. People will freak out over this for some reason. To the point of calling me names. It's happened.
-Lost. I think it's an okay show. Used to be better, I still like it. My friends can't stop telling me I have no taste.
-Rap. Not my favorite genre of music. Not even close. I listen to some french rap once in a while and it gets me glares and snickering without fail. Same goes for 40s/50s music. >.> Weird, it's like the opposite in most people's minds.
-Macrophile, vore, furry.
-Guns. I like to go to the range, tinker and modify, practice shooting. Most people seem to have a phobia of this kind of behavior.
-Drinking icy drinks in winter. Weird one, right? Someone gave me the glare of death while I was drinking an Iced Cappuccino a week ago. I love cold drinks.
-Mac stuff. I'm no fan of Apple products really... But for the year or so I had an iPod I never heard the end of it from my friends. Freakin' hell. It's just a music player.
There could be more... g'rawr. Things I notice people not liking me for. Huh, wonder what the point of that was? Whatever. >.> Time for more TF2.

Until the time you go to their house, crush their car underpaw, while you're dressed up as Cloud, drinking an iced Cappuccino and pointing a Glock at them while your iPod is blaring songs by The Drifters, I don't think they have much to grump at you for.

As for the cold drinks thing, my one housemate loves eating ice cream during the winter, because it doesn't melt! XD

Lost - I has never seen. ;.; *huggles*
Rap - I dun listen to much rap either, but there is the occasional song (and foreign rap totally pwns engrish). *huggles*
Macrophile, vore, furry - YAYYYY! *triple huggles*
Guns - Pshhhh, peoples are stoopid. They have the weirdest phobias. Besides, my mommy's boyfriend used to take me to a shooting range when I was little, and I'd collect the bullet shells because I thought they were kewl. *huggles*
Cold drinks - Pure amazingness, except when sick. *huggles*
Mac - I has one. Yay, no viruses! :D And I have an iPod, too. 'Tis weird that they'd give you crap for having one. o.O *huggles*
And finally... YAY, GINGER SNAPS! :D *throws some into the air like confetti...and huggles*
Personally if i really have to pick a Squaresoft game to be my favorite. id want to say FF9, but if Not a final fantasy game, easily Parasite Eve wins. that game was FREAKIN awsome.

-I like bows.. Guns are loud. Still a cool hobby. I have been getting an itch to go shooting.
-Starbucks frapicino and bubble tea = good all year 'round.
-MAC IS AWESOME. It has it's downsides though.
All the features in the world and no tablet pcs, no multicodex media centers, and sucks for upgrades and sheer processing power. Kinda pushy software that does a little too much for you.
ARF. I don't like you 'cause you're a furry. Furries are weird man.
But the point is, that most cases people tend to over heat.
That Aside. You do not have winters where you live. Just rain. Lots and lots of rain.
And speaking of tissues. *Blows his nose while using you as a tissue*

I've seen people get into outright shouting matches over preferences and I've always been puzzled by it. People will like what they like...as long as nobody gets hurt in RL, who gives a damn? I think it's just some people think they always have to be right, so anything they view as different from their own likes is "wrong" and they will have to show you that they're right and you're not.
But heh, good luck with that, they just don't realize they probably like 'weird' things too
I am a foxy who loves some music of the 50s and even some bagpipe music BTW.
People see me as nuts, when I eat ice cream on a cold day or winter xD
FF7 was good :3 and the sales charts and board rank shows it.

Rap is good :3 Alot of the old school is great stuff.
I hate mac aslo but ipods are quite good especially The touch one :3
it has been my experience that ff-fans always prefer whichever one they grew up with. it's totally an age-demographic thing.
i never watched any Lost, but i'm a huge fan of Fringe (same producer), so i really have no right to scold.
the weirdest thing about this post coming from you, in my opinion, is that you even mentioned anything. you're so stoic; i've never heard you complain about stuff like this.
the guns thing caught me off guard, until you mentioned the "tinker and modify" part, and then it totally made sense. ^.^
