Russia fired ICBM at Dnipro today
This is the first ICBM launch in the history of mankind
I was quite far out in the suburbs, but I'm sick and scared, the last few days have been terrible
I hope to be back here as an artist around the Christmas season
If we're all alive by then

As I'm sure you know by now, this was a new type of medium range missile, the Oreshnik, which Is hardly less terrifying than an ICBM, particularly for Ukraine. It's based on the design of an ICBM, after all.
Its warhead has six sub munitions, each of which has six targetable munitions. Those could even be nuclear tipped.
The one possible upside here could be that this is a new weapon and very expensive to produce, and that they've made very few of them so far, so they aren't likely to be a serious threat, at least any time soon. This was Russia showing off a new weapon.
I'll be safe, particularly compared to anyone in Ukraine right now, so no real complaints here, but thanks.
We do have our own type of threat here though, with the impending presidency of Drumpf.
My thoughts are mostly with you guys and the Palestinians right now.
I know it didn't do much damage where it fell.
But every time there's a Ukraine-wide air alert because of the threat of this rotten nut (Oreshnik = hazel/hazel tree), I'm still scared out of my mind
Nice word play there, too. I noticed where the name of the missile came from when I was double checking on the name of it.
For example, now one of the monitoring channels when the threat of reapplication of Oreshnik ends they write “cancel the threat on macadamia”
Humor is always a refuge in our darkest moments. I've heard some out of Ukraine in the last couple of years.
