What scares me is that, when there's a Republican in the Oval Office, there's usually a Conservative in the Prime Minister's Office. I never liked the Progressive Conservative Party and these new post-Reform Conservatives are even worse. Like your Republicans, they seem determined to re-make Canada. And their vision of Canada doesn't stretch much past the oil fields of Alberta. but it does paint "Woke" on anything even remotely progressive. 2SLGBTQ+ rights, for instance. (No wonder they dropped it from their name.) Their leader, Pierre Poilievre, scares me. He refuses to admit to any policies, all he spouts is slogans. I'm not sure if even he knows what he stands for and that scares me!
