Getting the ball rolling again...

Not yet done with my fursuit but I have been taking a break from it for a while. I only enjoy sewing so much...
Still need to make...
- hand paws
- feet paws
- arm sleeves
- tail
I'm planning to make the body once I lose weight, since I've already lost 20 pounds this year and plan to lose more the next. I wouldn't want to make it now and have it be all baggy and whatnot once I'm where I want to be.
As for the head, its roughly halfway done. Still need to make the hair, eyebrows, eyelids, the tongue, attach the jawset to the roof of the mouth, clean up the shave some more, mouth detailing, fix the liner in the head and decide if I want to add liner to the neck. Since this is a personal suit and a first for me, I'm not striving for it to be perfect, but I'm trying my best to make it good. I might make another head in the future since I'm not 100% happy with how it's looking right now, but that's for another year. It's all a learning process after all. Maybe once I'm more financially stable I can commission someone to make a really good one. As for everything else I've made so far (one too-large hand paw that I need to remake smaller x2) I'm pretty happy with.
Huge thank you to FoxFire Fantasy for the pattern I'm using for all four of my paws and all the other help they've given me along the way. Can't wait til I'm finished with it, but as for now I need to get other stuff in order and work on other art more, as well as try to improve my time management skills.
