As the title says, I was approved for an extension to my visa. So that's another thing off me and Hamakei's back until 2027 when it will be time to apply for an "indefinite leave to remain". Once that is done I will be able to stay in the UK without having to apply for another visa or becoming a UK citizen. The latter is another bridge that I may or not cross, depending on what may get to happen both here and in the USA.
