Very bad news.

So, maybe don't expect much art output from me in the next few weeks... I'll do my best to fulfill the commissions I have in queue but I am mentally and physically exhausted already.
Tuesday night we finally convinced my MIL Nadine (with whom we live with, she owns the house and property) to go to the ER to check out why she was so sick recently.
Turns out she (95% probably) has ovarian cancer, has some huge tumors, and had a partially collapsed lung due to fluid buildup. They drained approximately 2 liters of fluid from her pleural space and abdominal cavity. She feels a little better from that but got sent home last night. We spent nearly 24 hours at the ER with her. I ended up sleeping in the car in 25⁰f weather, Jake didn't get any sleep for about 40 hours straight.
But yeah uh, they can't do anything else for her other than pain management until they get a diagnosis, and that'll be a week to ten days out. How the doctors were talking last night is chemo might help shrink the tumors but not much hope for remission.
I hate asking this, but if anyone would be willing to donate any amount towards helping pay for her pain medication, gas for trips back snd forth to the hospital (about 45 minute drive away), literally any amount would be helpful for all of us.
