If I die...
Now that I'm getting really old, 69, mortality is becoming more and more a thing. And not just just hearing about Richard Bartrop, which was an unpleasant surprise. Today I got doxed and accused of being a commie nazi fag and pedo. The clown who did it is in Italy, but it only take one self-righteous yahoo to deal with my eveilwicked ways. And all I had to worry about before was the nightmare world to come with you know who.
FA+

(* cough, cough *)
instead the greedy State of Confusion.
Like the rest of the European side of my family, he believes that "age is a number " and that every new day is something to savor. Since entering my 50s, I have cared for myself and heed my doctor's orders.
I have got 99 problems, but the thought of dying isn't one of them. It's a shame about Bartrop, but if he could, he would ask us to continue being ourselves, artists.
The world is sadly filled with assclowns, and all we can do is ignore them.
I'm not important enough for the assclowns to pay attention to me, so not sure what else to say.

Think about it this way: if someone went out of their way to do this, this means you are not obscure, and people know you. You are still a big deal, relatively speaking.
And hearing of Richard's death kinda hit me. We've talked for hours on Furrymuck.
And remember, you have more people around you who will fight *for* you against those who would do you harm.
As someone who is dealing with estate matters for my mother, coming up on four years after her death, yes, please, get your affairs together so they don't become someone else's briar patch to navigate.
If it's any consolation, age is not as much an inhibitor as is often believed. Granted, physically speaking, some things will be harder, but my mind always goes back to my great nan, who despite being in her eighties, refuses to let anyone or anything stop her from doing as she pleases. She's old, but she does what she wants and refuses to let anyone tell her she's too old and frail.
It was your art that helped develop this fandom, so in that sense your influence is eternal. Do not let your age get you down. It's easy for me to say, I'm young myself, but so long as you have will you have a path.
It's my intention to to hang around as long as possible to annoy as many people as I can.
It's good to have goals.
It's good to be aware of your age. As we all get up there, it serves as a reminder that we need to take better steps to care for ourselves to extend our quality of life as long as we are able. A little more exercise, physically and mentally, and making sure we're eating well. It's good to begin to put into place a plan for the days when we might lose a little of our independence and need some help, not to mention the other incidentals we need to have in place so we don't have to worry about how our assets are distributed or our body is taken care of.
Long story short, we're glad you're still with us and we hope you will be for many, many, many more years to come.
Take care of yourself, and we'll do our best to do the same.
Happy Holidays
I hadn't heard that anything was wrong with Richard so it's a sudden pain indeed..
I had a stalker in Poland a while back. They were going to my friends trying to get info on me and my family supposedly to get at Eric. >.<
You do what you can with them. Mostly block and ban and keep an ear for anything local.
As many here say, stay safe, and stay well, please!
I should set up a will, too. maybe. lost brother and mom within a year, and now I sit here alone. not a good mood to brood in...
maybe we should really celebrate that those who are gone have left everything behind?
As for getting doxed, I don't know, sounds like the idiot needs some serious help in a psych ward, I mean really, commies hate the nazi and no nazi would suffer a commie to live.
Still, there are times I wish there was a furry group that would dox the doxers, let them deal with having themselved exposed to the public for what they really are.
A dear friend of mine died two years ago, far too young, brain tumor. Really hammered home to me that none of us are promised tomorrow. All we can do is make the most of whatever time we have. 69? Cheers man, here's to a healthy 96!
Also: Age is important,of course. But not the only thing. The key is to remember people of your age doing things ;)
On any case, happy birthday for you, Mr. Gallacci!
Trolls will be trolls. Those of us that have taken the time to know you ( or learn about your background ) be it your roots in art and meeting you at conventions or other places, have better insight into the real you.
- Father time does affect us all, though. Facing our own mortality happens to us all. A will is always nice to have. I need to do one myself .
- Not sure what to say about any local yahoos that read things and don't do their own research to dismiss fake things and lies.
