More sensible than me- I still run around just with eye pro.
For CQB sites I absolutely wear full face now because I've been donked doing that before, but for the more open and big sites (like one up near Glasgow I love) I go with a policy of "simply offer a better target than my face"
Mostly been wanting to make video games, BUT the cutscenes would defo fill that role! (Now I just need a few million dollars and a team of a hundred people…)
Toughset isn't even the favorite, just the closest one to a "sona" I guess! Favorites might be more along the lines of Ling or Natasha, though I really need to get their stories out there first off...
That's always kinda difficult because, as someone whose worked in games, character enjoyment and game enjoyment can be two separate things. For example; I like Warhammer 40k but I can't gravitate towards a single character, if that makes sense.
That being said, some of my favorite character designs are;
-Sol Badguy
-Felicia (Darkstalkers)
-Motoko (GITS Stand Alone Complex)
-Handsome Jack (Borderlands 2)
-Strife (Darksiders)
-Helena (DOA2)
Are you excited to watch Sonic 3 in theaters and does it remind you of the days you once speedran Sonic Adventure 2 and was filled intense sweaty moments (oh trust me I remember you answering that specific question from many moons ago)?
Also have ever witnessed the 4th dimension or further beyond?
Lastly if life is an anime for you, what anime is and what part/arc would we be in currently?
I actually have yet to watch the sonic movies and I'll probably get around to it when the hype dies down so my opinions don't get muddled
Haven't seen the 4th dimension but honestly I hope it stays as a nebulous concept so companies like EA don't monopolize it.
Not sure about anime arcs, but probably close to the time where they start teasing fifth seasons, or even spinoff IPs, primarially because I got married.
I did a couple of times, though right now I'm just trying to rekindle a general drive to do more personal projects. I've no doubt doing inktober is doable, but a good work ethic isn't what I"m struggling with right now.
I've considered everything from gacha-style animations, to painter/illustration Warfang 80B artwork, though right now the issue is less popularity and interest, and more making sure I do stuff that's actually affordable. Pretty sure my userbase isn't too keen on dropping $400+ for a single artwork
Would honestly love to go back into video game design full time with my own IPs for sure. But if not, I can settle for maybe merchandising one of my ideas, maybe learn 3d printing
Frig that's a tough one....

Of all time; honestly don't think I can choose just one due to, well, bias between actual design, and who I designed for
Admittedly we did a LOT of things out of order, given how long we waited to finally have a window of opportunity. I proposed to her in a park near the woods, and frankly it was kind of doing the gesture (since we had already planned the wedding less than a week later!) But no regrets about how it all turned out, and frankly looking back, I wouldn't have it any other way!
I understand the frustration behind AI generated art and it's usage, but I believe that stems from using it as a final published product, bypassing artists entirely. When it's used as a tool to inform artists or help define a generalized idea of what you, the client, had in mind, I think AI art is suitable for that purpose
1.) About 10 years ago you said that you didn't think you'd ever get married. How does it feel now to be happy married and could you have imagined the way way things have turned out 10 years on?
2. What kind of boots, short, knee high etc do you like to draw on a character? :)
3. Could there be a Toughset Jr in the future for you both?
1. Needless to say, NOTHING went according to my plan, but I"m ok with that! The funny thing both me and Belise came to realize is we both thought being married would somehow change us. After we got married, it didn't feel like much had changed, like it was completely natural to be around each other constantly! Honestly I am so lucky to ahve ehr in my life!
2. Depends on the character/scenario. Not every fashion fits every character personally
3. We're defo planning on something like that in the future!
Disregarding the obvious ASDF reference, honestly some of those leisurly trains that go through the alps and what not honestly seem like they could be fun to go on!
I could certainly be practicing more, been a little hard to lately, with all the moving and getting married and what not, but once I get the chance I plan to do a lot more
She’s not exactly “difficult “ but I remember for the longest time struggling with Sarah-chi’s design, specifically getting her hair color the right shade. Yellow can be a finninky color!
Just saw this now and thought to take the opportunity to ask some questions! Do you like fanart of your content? What was you favourite themed art sale you made? And what is your most favourite piece you created? (Can be multiple) And finally, will anymore themed sale's return? Thanks! :D
-Theoretically yes, I do like fanart of my characters, though I don't feel I"ve earned that yet with how a lot of my characters still need to be fleshed out publicly. Also had some "interesting" fanarts in the past involving my characters with other people's fetishes, so if I seem a bit hesitant, that's kinda why
-I think a personal favorite was the Super Poofstation pixel sale, was nice to do a bit of gamedev, even if it was fake. I wanted the Warfang 80B to kick off, but honestly didn't feel my lineart style made it look good.
Was kind of an impulse at first. I got a bit of flak drawing a picture with someone's girl character in quicksand, getting called an abuser and accusations of just wanting to take advantage of vulnerable women. Might have overreacted to those statements now that I think about it, but that was one reason why I went to FA. though with how DeviantART turned out, that was defo the right call!
Hard to say, probably Natasha I suppose?
As for someone elses' character, kinda limited to commission works in that regard. Probably flafty 's Sapphire? Defo my favorite of his gals.
peril-wise I really only tend to like stuff that is at least quicksand-adjacent. Even just being stuck in deep mud or trying to wade through something of that case works too. Most out there would probably be vore, but it has to be very specific. Anything beyond something like a "Like-Like" from Legend of Zelda and I lose interest.
As for perils I don't enjoy, rope bondage with elaborate knots and what not, hypnosis, petrification, and of course vore with more traditional characters. I guess the overall vibe plays a factor too. Lot of the peril stuff in general feels ooff when it's played for straight fetish and there's not at least some sincere distress
Ooo! Still enjoy your stuff and babes, so lemme lay an artist question on ya as im interested to hear.
You have a nice default style of drawing that isn't to leaning towards realism or cartoony, so I was think would you like to do or think about branching into more realism paintings like animals, landscapes, people portraits etc?
Also where do you find your motivation to draw as i know myself that can be hard at times with tiredness, self confidence etc?
Finally lol Is there any comfort way of drawing habit you'd like to break out of, as in you know you'd like to study different styles, anatomy and others?
-I do to a degree, some sale ideas would require a different approach than my usual style, though admittedly it’s a little difficult for me to shift gears like that.
-Motivation is too unreliable for powering through art work. People don’t like it, but eventually you’ll just need cold hard discipline. A good work ethic is far better in the long run.
-I often get jealous of people who can pull off a messy lineart or coloring and still make the piece look fantastic. Makes me think my method is too inefficient, but my OCD tends to work against me when I attempt anything like that.
Honestly hoping to break out into something other than commission artwork for a living. Really couldn’t pursue that these past couple of years because of trying to keep my family afloat

Any opinions on Ivy from Deadlock? If you know her, that is!
Some of which I imagine you will like, given the list you mentioned
Odd question, I'm sure. You just strike me as well-read.

Very curious since in my personal experience it’s been a mixed bag. Some say they don’t mind, some get really mad when you mention it…

Whitch is better?

-Right now, for obvious reasons, this is my favorite piece I've done.

-Yeah previous sales have a chance of making a comeback, though with my computers crashing, salvaging old assets might be a problem.
Quite curious to know for the various artists i watch.
but totally agreed with you on DA how DA turned out
Follow up, whose your favorite OC to draw that belongs to someone else? (and doesn't belong to Belise)
As for someone elses' character, kinda limited to commission works in that regard. Probably
Likewise, any perils you don't really enjoy?
