ATTN: watcher/client thoughts requested!

Hi,
Actually 2 questions:
So, what's your favorite way to order a commission from an artist?
Which one do you think is the most common these days?
Just curious, as I haven't asked this recently.
Note, in my 14+ year career, I've pretty much evolved through all the methods: email, dm, invoice, form (where you are sent an invoice and pay that), form v2 (where you pay when you submit the form), store (The least common).
[My fav (and currently utilizing): form v2 + store .]

As a commissioner or when buying digital products from an artist I preform shops on private websites or sites like Kofi or forums with all the information laid out. I am also cool with direct messages and discord though.
FA notes are too clunky and slow for me, and there's no reliable way of getting notified of new messages other than just visiting the website, which I can't do at all hours of the day.
I don't like FA notes either. SO much I actually turned them off for years. But people are...people. I turned them back on to experiment. I prefer fydbac.com chat box or just http://fydbac.com/contact :)
I prefer invoicing for payment as it takes all the guessing out and feels more timely.
But there are places like vgen, https://vgen.co/fydbac , if one doesn't have their own site or etc.. Their middle man fees are irrelevant for me, so I only really use em as a billboard of sorts, but I'd recommend it for someone who may be on that kinda vibe. There are about 2 others I know of, but I haven't done commissions through them.
