The Wings of Desire's Christmas Special Form Report Is Here!
Heya!
After all my Patreon/Ko-Fi supporters had access to it, you guys can now know the results of the form! Don't hesitate to ask me questions if you have some, and I will reply the soonest I can. So, let's begin!
Introduction
As a dragon who really loves stats, I will be examining and commenting on them. If you don’t want to read all the analysis, you can look at the graphs here
Firstly, I want to thank each of you who have filled in my form! Having 9 responses was pretty good (and way more than I expected haha), and it really helped me to see what you would like to read in this story and even for the future ones! Since it’s more a “community request”, I know that there is a probability that you will not enjoy the final outcome of it, and I’m genuinely sorry. I received some very interesting requests to be honest, which I took notes for maybe a future Wings of Desire!
Before we jump into the results, I need to warn you about some changes I’ve made. To make it easier to compile the results, I have made some change to the results which are:
* For the scenarios, any personalized answers were regrouped into one of the main 13 categories I’ve made. For example, if a response wanted the scenario involving a waltz during a school party, I would put it in my Dancing category.
* For the ship, if someone choose twice or trice the same ship, I consider it to be only one choice (since it’s the same person)
* Also for the ship, the order of the choice doesn’t matter for the results. As long as you choose one, it will count equally.
* Any choice who has 0 will be removed from the graph.
* So, let’s see what I received!
The Ship
It may be surprising for some, but for me, it only confirmed my prediction. Qinterwatcher (Winter x Qibli x Moon) shipper rejoiced at this result! From some who told me they really want to see me write something about them, I know it would be a popular choice. Funny enough though, for those who don’t know it already, I have already written them together in the Chapter 04 of Just Friends (Three Heads Love), which I recommend you to read if you haven’t done it already!
Am I happy with this choice? Hell yeah! It will be pretty fun to write about them having fun together, mostly as a three-dragons couple. It will be challenging however to find a concise way to describe all their actions and not doing 20 pages because of it haha! (Subtle foreshadowing...)
In a very close second, it’s the classic Winter x Qibli, which it’s easy to guess the reason. Since the first choice involved them also, I’m thinking about making a quick part of the one-shot with them too, mostly since I think some of the kink would fit it well for them haha!
I also note some tendencies in the results. First, close to none of the third arc ships nor Darkstalker’s story has been chosen (except Sundew x Willow once), which it’s funny, but understandable. Second, Clay and Glory are included in a lot of wanted ships. It’s interesting that you guys love them! I will make sure to do something with these characters in this case (together or in different ships, I will see). Also, Turtle is quite loved too, and as someone who really likes this character, I’m thinking about including him in some Wings of Desire.
The Scenario
This one was VERY thigh. Each response changed the lead of this part of the form. To give you an idea, the most popular scenario leads with one more response than the two others behind it. Close to a Fireplace is indeed a pretty good one. This classic prompt is always enjoyable and quite simple to write around, which lets me focus more on the characters’ interactions (very important for Qinterwatcher) and the hot (Ha! Ha!) part of this one-shot!
Though the two other choices were pretty good also! Traditional Tribe Activity would be challenging, but pretty cool to have some of my headcanons on this. Decorating For Christmas would be pretty nice also, mostly if bondage was involved in it! All in all, I’m pretty happy with this outcome!
The Kinks
The arousing part of this analysis is here! So, what do my readers want to read the most? Well, as much as it was also tight at the beginning, there is a clearer tendency after the fifth response. To be honest, this is very surprising, but also pretty neat!
Romantic Sex: LET’S GO!!!!! The kind of stories that I love to write! And you tell me I will have to do it with Winter, Qibli and Moonwatcher? Count me in! It will be very interesting to write a one-shot with a couple composed of three dragons. Mostly thinking that the love dynamics would be a bit different from a traditional one, so it will be interesting for sure (and my favorite boys will interact with each other also, which it’s a plus in my book~)
Dirty Talking: “Huh?” That was my first reaction when I saw the results. Of course I was surprised, I didn’t know this choice would be this popular, being tied with the first one even! I’m glad that you enjoy Jambu’s dirty talking to Deathbringer in my recent story in this case! For a moment, I thought, “Wait! How should I do the dirty talk if it’s romantic?” Then, I remembered that Qibli and Winter are in this story, so… yup, it’s easier than I thought haha! The goal will be then to equilibrate it to not be too much, and I accept this challenge!
The Third Choice: As you may notice in the picture, there are 5 other possibilities for the third choice: Vanilla Sex, Frotting, In Heat/Rut, Rimming & Tail Sex. To be honest, there will be some elements of vanilla sex, even if it will not be “plain” because of the other fetishes involved. As much as I would like to include it, I will not put Tail Sex (mostly since two of the three tails from the characters hurt and/or can kill) Which leaves me with three of them: Frotting, In Heat/Rut & Rimming. I know I would like to include the heat in it (since it’s easy to see the parallel with the fireplace). The two others will depend on what I’m planning to write, which it’s under construction!
THE SPICE????: Though, I already have two other kinks I would like to implement in this story since I think it would fit pretty well, but I will leave it as a surprise for you ;) (Hint: it’s a nice gift to Moon by her two lovers~)
What It Will Become
That’s pretty neat, but what will I do with these choices? In a few words, I will write a quick story about them warming up (in both ways) close to the fireplace. With some Qibli and Winter banters and Moon who, during all day, feels way hotter than usual. I will focus on writing this one-shot this month and try to finish it for December 25th (for Patreon and Ko-Fi supporters only). Then I will publish it for everyone on January 31st.
Updates (12/19/24): So... I've made a huge mistake. The story is WAY longer than intended. As much as I was joking about making a 20 pages one-shot, this is slowly realizing as I'm STILL writing it. Right now, I'm writing my 16th page, and I estimate that I will need two to three more pages before finishing it. To be honest, I'm quite exhausted with the extra hours working on my side job (now becoming a hell because of the holidays season) and managing everything in my real life side. This is mentally hard, but I will still do my best to finish it the 25th as intended. Though, if for some reason I will be late, I will warn you in advance. The good news is I'm close to finish it, and the artist Gram_Berserkr as done the lineart of the art cover (which my supporters can look at it in my Discord server ;) ). I already have the title for this story! Wings Of Desire : Love’s Warmer Than A Fireplace. I hope you are hyped for this one!
