Dayum, that ain't cool. I dunno too terribly much about surgery, but the good news is, the optic nerve is actually incredibly strong. It'll probably take a bunch of time, but he shouldn't be under much risk, and the chances of him losing sight in his eye are pretty damn low, if the surgeons are at all competent.

Please try to keep yourself calm, and if you're not up for it, don't upload anything until after New Year's. I was actually thinking about you when I stopped by your page and read this god awful news. I'm sure everyone else will think about you as well.
