I tried that when I was a kid.

It went great! I broke an ankle and I didn't have to go to school for two weeks!

I guess I don't need to explain I hated school.

Of course my jumping thing was not as elaborated as this one. I just tied one spring to each shoe. It was still fun to jump around...

heh, we used to have old mattresses out in the forest that we'd jump on. The biggest problem with these springs is the wobble factor..you'd need some sort of frame for them to keep their motion going vertical. Mejeep bought a pair of spring boots that uses a leaf spring which is way better.

I remember those, 'Kangaroo Hops' I think they're called. What I love about these is the way they're so wonky. The look like a real object straight out of a cartoon.
