2024 was a wild and rough year for me. I made some new drawings during Art Fight and commissioned people to make drawings of my fursona. The last part of 2024 was especially rough on me because a certain orange man won the 2024 election by a slim margin and is a member of a party that has a very large faction that a lot of his allies are on that oppose the rights of sexual minorities, including homosexuals. I expressed genuine fear that my status as a homosexual with a boyfriend would mean that it would no longer be safe for me to be in my home country of America and that I would have no choice but to move to another country where I would be safe. I told my father and stepmother about these fears and in a major moment, I came out to be being gay and having a boyfriend right in front of them. They were struggling to understand my situation and I was struggling to get them to understand as well. Fortunately, they accepted the fact that I was gay and had a boyfriend and I went to see a psychiatrist to deal with my fears and mental situation and things have gotten better ever since.
