2024 Looking Back
Hello!
I thought it would be fun to make a journal looking at this last year before the clock ticks over!
First off, can I just say THANK YOU to everyone who commissioned me!? This year had such a massive influx of work and it just made me so excited and happy about what I've been able to do with my art. I was able to work steady pretty much the whole year and barely had to advertise! I also have had wonderful clients who are so polite, as well as repeat clients that finish art and then tell me they're coming back for more!
I love the sheer variety of animals I've been able to transform people into and it was a lot of fun to jump into comic pages and auctions. Every time I finish a new animal I usually find out about more cool animals, and it's really fun to learn about so many different types of anatomy.
This year I also attended several local conventions and art shows. I think it's been the most I've ever attended in a year. I even tried a furry con haha. I got to guest star on the TFTuesday Podcast, and I got to panel at the ShifterCon on Discord, and it's been so neat to meet everyone else who loves transformations. You guys are fantastic!
Looking forward, I've still been very slowly working on the Animorphs Storyboards. I'm hoping to finish all the rough panels this year (I'm so CLOSE! Just a couple more scenes!)
My graphic novel, Shifted, still has a book 2 in progress, but that's definitely on the backburner as I've been so busy with commissions! I also have three more auction comics sketched out (Giant Eland, Aardvark and Secretary Bird), and I hope to think of some others as the year progresses!
With all that, is there anything you're looking forward to in this next year? Any animals that you think I should learn about?
I hope you all have a wonderful new year with lots of really cool new art!
