Happy new year, everyone!
First off, thank you for everyone who supports me! I'm very grateful for all of you! Here are some notable metrics I'd like to share!
WE JUST REACHED 1000 FOLLOWERS on my Telegram art channel! THANK YOU!
Over 6600 watchers on Fur Affinity
Just over 700 follows are bluesky! - https://bsky.app/profile/sprucemoki.com
58,000 subscribers on YouTube! - https://www.youtube.com/@SpruceMoki
The Offering has 5,223,078 views!
With two more videos over 1 million views and 2 more just shy of a million!
THANK YOU!
I wanted to share a few things that I'd like to do this year. As you know, I just started dabbling in Unreal engine 5. I would like to continue to learn more about it and start making my interactives with that instead of the HTML player I currently use. I hope it will increase user satisfaction and compatibility. I will still render out the animations in video format for those that wish to view it like that.
I also want to create a more cinematic animation now and then. Longer form, non-interactive content with a small plot, thoughtful lighting, precise camera movement, etc. Something akin to what Untied Verbeger makes. I love movies and would love to tackle the production process.
I'm developing a process for making new characters based on what I learned with Jax 2.0. I have ideas on how to do it but I need to test it and I got some help to do so! With that said, I'd like to add more characters to my roster this year! Spruce of course and then some others that people voted for in a poll last year.
Moving forward, I am planning to offer my paid subscribers more value by having exclusive camera angles for them to enjoy in interactives. I don't want people missing out though, so I was thinking of doing 2 camera angles for everyone: main 3rd person view and a pov view. Because I know there are people that prefer one over the other and it wouldn't be fair to have POV always under a subscription fee. The additional views would be closeups, wide shots, and other alternate angles. I still don't plan to lock any actual scenes behind a subscription either. Only additional camera angles.
As far as games go, I want to keep public releases sparse with only significant stable updates, with subscribers getting regular beta updates.
The Donut interactive is coming along nicely. I have only a few scenes left to finish before it's complete. Then I can begin working on the YCH recolors! I appreciate everyone's patience while I fulfill their commission! This animation is BIG and the hands and anus have a lot of controls to work with, so it's taken longer than anticipated.
I would like to hear from you! Do you have any comments, suggestions, critiques about my work? What do you think of the extra camera angles being subscriber exclusive? Do you have other ideas I can implement for subscribers to give more value to their subscription? Are you satisfied with the content I'm releasing? What would you like to see more of this year? I'd be happy to hear from you!
Hope you all have a wonderful day and a stellar start to 2025!!
Cheers,
Spruce

On that note, longer-form animations where you're more pointedly at the helm for cinematography and effects sounds great. I'd imagine it ain't easy, so I hope it goes well!
Oh, and Happy Nude Deer to you, too.
For projects that aren't just video files but rendered real-time in-engine I could imagine having the option to customize characters being a neat extra for subscribers if the license allows.
Something simple like putting a hue shift on their texture could allow a decent amount of customization and be modular for many characters/projects. Just a random idea.
