My Beastars fanon lore.

General
Given my universe is fanon or "fan canon" for those not in the know and kinda it's own thing, I am not going to be 1 for 1 with adopting the source material. Mostly cuz strictly adhering to it feels limiting and also I don't like how nerfed Herbivores are in Beastars. It's fine for what the manga is trying to convey, but for my fighting universe, that caveat has to go.
But anyway, characters aren't going to look exactly like are supposed to and they are also not going to behave like they are in the manga. A key part of this is how San and Kyuu are portrayed in my universe. Also given I'm working with Hero Forge and the limitations that come with that, I'm obviously going to not be as accurate to the original source. The design philosophy is going to be very loose.
Originally when I first started I was trying to strictly adhere to the manga design when it came to the beasts of Beastars, where they don't really have "hair styles" unless they are wearing wigs or their species have enough wool/manes or have excess hair that can be styled into a hairstyle. Like lions or sheep or alpacas. But now I'm more more lax with that, so certain species that wouldn't normally have hair can and will have hair if I feel it makes the character looks better.
Also last names. In my universe they have them. In Beastars they typically don't really have last names, their species is generally their "last name", which is kinda funny considering they have species that have specifically have names that are first names and surnames, like the Jack Russell dog breed. Like obviously there would have to be a Jack Russel to name them right? But no humans exist. It's funny.
But in any case, my characters and my versions have last names. For example. The Gouhin presented in my universe's last name is Ishikawa, San and Kyuu have the similar surname Ishigawa.
Also in my universe, prehistorical animals or mythical beasts exist. So there are dinosaurs and dragons walking about. Also animals not fully humanoid anthro in Beastars like Snakes are fully humanoid, cuz I'm a coward...shut up. xD
Anyway that's all I got for now.
