very interesting, my dino died during the Triassic extinction, then some how revived, thrown into space academy, escaped and went back to earth and lining on a time line were current animals exists as standard citizens and me trying to fit in with other birbs.

Yeah I have a whole idea worked out for a story, but it needs truncating for brevity to ever be accomplished. Maybe one day.

Last year, I cast off my namesake. Bitcoon is no longer Bit anymore. I still turn my head when someone says the word, it's so natural to me even IRL. That DNA is still part of me, but I recognized that it's just a piece of the puzzle. I'm a lot of things these days, big and small, all sorts of species, genders. I'm all over the map. Bit is more of a mascot now, and I think that was always his ideal position, looking back.

Embi is such a leap from what I used to be, but feels so comfortable to me at the same time. Her name evokes at least a few deliberate references and soundalikes, fully intended. It's no second skin yet, but I'm already feeling pretty cozy with the name. I guess I wanted a character that's a little more representative of the multitude of nonsense that makes up me.

Of course for me this is all online stuff! Gotta be an interesting time changing IRL! I'm all about it; long live Tetran!

Yeah it definitely feels like quite the change. I wanted to wait for animating a bouncy Tetran icon for Furaffinity, but I think I'm just gonna have to make the change today and hope I'll eventually replace my bouncy icon.

happy birthday! And name changes are weird. I think it was somewhat easier for me as I had kind of 'worn' my second skin in name for most of the time I have been online, but I can definitely appeciate the change being a bit strange at first. You'll get accustomed to it in time.

The important thing is that you feel more comfortable and if you need the name change to make it official, then that's what it takes.
