I just wanted to get my thoughts out. The past two days have been hard for me. My hometown was the site of a horrific terrorist attack. I and my family are safe. I’m far away from my city and my heart is in two. I am on vacation on opposite side the country with my best friend. She is an absolute angel and I’m beyond grateful I have her. A part of me feels guilty for still trying to enjoy my vacation while my city is mourning, but that would be letting such evil win and I must take care of myself by still enjoying the good in the world. A night of celebration and renewal can never be tarnished. I don’t like to talk about serious topics online I like to make this a place to relax and be silly but I felt I had to shout into the void. I’m a believer in God, synchronicity, and the goodness of people. In 2025 live to the fullest every day. We have a short time in this world so be who you are as much as you can possibly be, no matter how cringe. Love others and spend time with those you care about and let them know how much you love them. My hometown is strong, we have been through so much the last few decades but our spirit is to never stop having fun and celebrating life. Love is ALWAYS the answer.
