Strawpage Response Post #24: I Dream of TF
8 months ago
QUESTION
It seems like you have transformation and TF on your mind a lot. Have you ever had a dream where you TFed? If you can recall, what was it like?
My Response
I definitely do have TF on the mind a decent amount IRL, but not quite as much as I make it out to be online. I'm trying to work toward splitting the difference on posting ONLY TF, and trying to come across more like an actual person, if that makes sense. I ADORE TF, but I also don't wanna be *completely* one-note, I suppose? Maybe a strange concern.
Anyway, the question! I have! I've probably had a handful of dreams where I transformed, but I only vaguely remember two of them.
In one of them, a friend and I were playing Super Smash Bros Melee, and somehow hopped into the game through the TV to play it in-person. We became stronger armored versions of ourselves, had our fun on the Temple stage, but found we couldn't jump back to the TV screen. Our solution was to jump into the player indicator rings at our feet, which would send us into our respective GameCube controllers. Then another friend in the living room would unplug the controllers, allowing us to travel up our cords and exit back into reality through the cord plugs.
In another, some mad scientist guy turned me into a strange butterfly sphinx with yellow triangular wings (kind of like this: https://imgur.com/a/tfIigeC). I was unleashed into public, and tried to find the scientist to change back. Along the way, I found some other random strangers who suffered a similar fate. By the end, we found the scientist, subdued them, got ourselves changed back, and afflicted the same TF upon them as revenge.
Beyond that, the closest I can come to remembering another TF dream is one where taking a shower simultaneously made me melt, but also UN-melt by way of a Super Mario 64 health meter being refilled by some tangential "showering is the same as swimming on the surface of water" logic. Within the short duration of the scene, I never completely ran out of health (i.e. fully melted) or fully refilled it (i.e. completely solidified/un-melted).
Thanks for the question, anonymous!
