Yeah, i'm talking about FA again... there we go...
First of all, credits where it should be given, on the FA staff actually working to (try) make the site better.
It's great to see tag blocking finally arriving at this site, after what, 20 years, at least 3 babyfur hunt and a crisis that ended up in having a prize winning user being banned by the same things that made her won that prize all suddenly, other users that had their accounts baiscally deleted, with permabanas without any kind of defending themselves before the final decision?... well, yeah, it's there, tag blocking... all bad things are past and everything is ok...
You see the issue there?
For one side, is good seeing the mods turning this 2002's website into something more actual, now we're in what, 2010?
Do we need to go through aaaaallll that stuff again before we get other improvements, like... more than 75kbps size for a profile picture? being able to change usernames?
it's good to see there's work being done, that i can't deny, but i can't trust that these bad stuff we've been through won't repeat.

i want to believe it, and really want to, but after being indirectly labeled as a P-word after being here for 10 years, and having a ban as a 10th birthday for stuff that were into the rules when posted, and having received amazing NONE warnings or requests for edit or remove the said picture myself, i just can't.
It may be a new staff, new times, but these won't heal the scars we've gotten here. And i'm not talking just on the last 6 months, these issues have been happening through years, 5 at minimum! If theyw ant to change their reputation toward us (if they ever want it, of course), just do your job properly here, and with time - weeks, months, YEARS- it'll begone.
Don't believe that just because recently have been some QoL updates and some fixes to a shitty rule (that we've been telling about it for YEARS), that it's already safe to post here again. wait for it, evaluate, take your own time for that. don't be blind to believing "now it'll be different", when it was done before with "this won't hit me, i don't draw this", or "i didn't got banned, so i'm alrirght".
O the 2.7 rule... It still doesn't gives me any trust that it'll be followed properly, mostly due the events we've been through. Weasyl also updated his babyfur/diaper section on rules, and it's acceptable... all FA had to do was copy/paste it and people would be ok. but even then, would have that "will they actually follow it?"
no matter what they say or do here, i ain't posting here again for a good time. Would be great if people would still moving their galleries to other places, like IB, Weasyl, Bluesky... many, rather than here, personally. It's hard to start again, but hey, nothing here says you won't have to soon, so why don't start now? and with peace, instead the rushing and angry feeling of being forced to by bans?
that's all i have to say about this all. Personally, If FA want to regain babyfurs and diaperfurs trust again, would be better get the site down and start from 0. That would be a new beggining... keeping this up, they could change everyone,and still won't give me the safety to being myself here, which is sad, cuz it's what i loved about this place when i started here.
