Another emergency vet run for Jaspyr

Well back from another emergency vet run for Jaspyr ($1k). He woke me up early, was being very vocal, aggressive and seemed like he couldn't pee/poop again. Different emergency vet this time, a little closer. He's got a bad UTI that could get worse if the antibiotics don't help and getting them into him is going to be a nightmare. Just tried and he was hissing and fighting and determined to get away before I got some of it into his mouth. Don't look forward to that every 12 hrs along with getting him in at his regular vet next week for a follow-up. I'll have to see if long-term injectable antibiotics will be better, plus need to try and get some pain killer into him so he can pee easier while dealing with the infection.
Sad he's having such a rough go of things!

Yes it is. I actually cried with relief earlier because he got in the litter box earlier and peed okay, after just two doses of antibiotics and a half-dose of pain and inflammation reliever. I really hope I can get him over this and he'll finally be smooth sailing for him. It's crushing that he's required over $4k in vet bills to care for him so far over this. At the least need some kind of financial help because of his bills.

He seems to be but weather willing he'll be going to his regular vet in the morning for a follow-up.
