perhaps its just down for the moment. When I used Boosty a while ago for arts, it took aaaggeessss to load, and occasionally just broke the webpage.

did it give you an error code of some kind? Maybe you can google it, either that or your friend might need to do something on their end. You can try to donate a dollar to another artist on there to see if it works, if it does, then it might have something to do with your friend's account.

(if you try that, I recommend FeatheredDiva, her arts are wonderful ^v^ )

Likely there is something wrong with the site.
In those 5 days, did you try around the same hours?
Maybe try a different browser (once upon a time I tried to buy a music album from a site and it didn't work on Firefox, so I had to install Chrome to do it).

I second what Corvid_Confidential said, it could very be your friend's account.

I used it just the day before yesterday for a Russian friend myself and I'm in American, all I did was manually fill out my paypal card details and it worked.
