general commission updates - feb. in-stream slots open (2...

It's been a while ! Sorry about that!!
-I've been spending january working almost exclusively on late and over schedule assignments in the backlog. I've completed c. 16 images from it this month (basically every post in the discord early access channel this month), as well as gotten WIPs out to a half dozen or more people. It's far from everyone who's been waiting, but it's substantial progress, especially given that a lot of these are highly demanding, maximum effort projects. Difficult as many have been, it's also been a relief and a small weight off my chest. I would say I've gotten about a third of the way through it this month. So a sincere, heartfelt thank you to everyone who has been patient and kind about a delayed project, I don't like to make excuses, but 2023-24 has been a very difficult time for me. Not to alarm anyone, but the downturn in output last year was because I was not doing well (but I'm doing better). So i appreciate how understanding everyone has been. I'm fully committed to completing all assignments at the exact price point and level of quality I agreed to, but it will still take me a few months to get all the way there, because I do have to take some small bit of new work every month to meet living expenses. If you haven't gotten updates yet, I promise I haven't forgotten and it's something I do still take very seriously.
-I'll be getting WIPs out for approval to the people who commissioned in the tail end of last year in february. I just had to lock in this month and shave a big chunk off of the backlog, for my own sake as much as for the people waiting.
-In-streams will once again be a scheduled monthly fixture. This is how they were intended in their original iteration, back when they were a patreon tier. Basically it's just a fixed batch of lower stress/fast turnover commissions I can reliably complete every month to cover my most basic living expenses (dw I'm frugal). It didn't really work for patreon because I couldn't ever put it on pause, so it became a source of stress immediately. It then turned into the colored sketch queue, which got implemented only sporadically, since I didn't want to solicit commissions unless *absolutely* necessary. But in the sake of total and complete honesty, cashflow is the primary reason I run into problems with delayed projects. I am not doing anyone any favors by increasing the delay time because I don't solicit new work. I just need a small bit of stability or I'll keep running into project management issues and burnout. So at end of every month, I'll put out a call for a handful of these and only once the last batch are all streamed and done. The number may vary slightly based on if they're one or two character comms but I'll keep it around 5 and keep the queue posted in discord. I've two left from last month so there's 3 slots open still. Standard tier only, 3 chars max.
-I've added Revolut as a payment option now that it's available in the US. It takes a smaller cut than paypal on currency exchanges, so it will be the preferred method for currencies outside of USD. also if there are other payment options you guys actually use let me know and I'll add those as well (but if it's not something you actually use, no need).
-I'm posting new & original stuff to patreon now, you can join for 0$ (or more), or get it in the WIPs channel of the discord
tl;dr
-locked in hard on completing overdue comms for all of january, BUT
-need to solicit a handful of new jobs every month to keep the the lights on, SO
-fixed queue of 5 standard slots (ish) completed on a monthly basis just like the old 'patreon monthly sketch/colored sketch queue', BUT
-i will of course still be working to complete what's left of the backlog, ALSO
-WIPs will start going out next month for comms taken before end of last year, AS WELL AS
-revolut added as payment option; preferred for currencies outside of USD, AND
-let me know if there's other non-paypal options you actually get use out of, AND LASTLY
-go check out the stuff i'm posting to patreon and in my discord, it's really good... no one's been disappointed yet.. satisfaction or your 0$ back..

Payoneer is my primary payment method! Patreon allows Payoneer as an alternate payout option (the main one being PayPal), therefore I believe many people will use it.
