that make you feel afraid or uneasy even tho they are not dangerous at all/you'll likely will never face them?
For me it's 1) shit from video games like falling through textures out of the map, cut content with broken textures/ai or strange glitches
Examples: hino_kuri2 https://youtu.be/pljSAg2kNuk?si=YVMR6ndM6jdMU7F7 elh https://youtu.be/ixkJuB66AZI?si=r_OX69-VmwWLbI24
and another which is kinda related to "glitches" when I think about is when something is wrong with your environment but not in a harmful way like when mirrors show your back when you look at it etc
oh and this thing https://i.ytimg.com/vi/R29g0AwI3YI/.....resdefault.jpg

Like getting telefragged by things that move unnaturally or when something so absolutely massive loads in that it makes the game lag.
Reversed sounds also put me on edge, especially if they are distorted at all.
I've played the coziest game to relax that for some reason had the inventory sound effects as reversed notes. Sadly kills the vibe for me, though others barely notice.
Unfortunately my dumb brain is hardwired to imagine horrible worst case scenarios that likely never happen.
One constant fear for me is man-made structures in water. Pumps, pipes, grids, chains, buoys. As a child already I was scared of swimming too close to the ends of pools and above grids. It made me feel like how normal people would feel about swimming in nuclear cooling pools. Climbing onto those swimming platforms in lakes costs me some courage.
Getting shoot into space like Laika the dog? Also big unlikely fear. 😬
detailed monster model with billion polygons where every pimple is visible? um cool ig? okay?
lowpoly model with fucked up textures and unrecognizable body parts? 100/10 kill kill kill
Just falling in general tbh, like, if theres a certain amount of motion blur / some acceleration, I get vertigo like crazy and feel like -I'm- the one falling and not my playable character
No amount of "Its just a game" helped when staring into the underwater void
I can sit dangling my legs off the edge of a thousand foot granite cliff comfortably, for example, but as another example, I was on an upper floor of a skyscraper when it was just being finished and it was empty. The room I was in had floor to ceiling windows, and I found it impossible to walk right up to the window.
I decided that meant that I trust natural structures more than man made ones.

dreams of falling for miles, or hiding underneath big rocks, too. but tbh caving and especially squeezing through narrow cracks in caves gives me just as much bad feelings to watch from afar or online, as actual being up high with vertigo gives me in real life.
