I tend to just see a pose and a character and just... go for it

I also use circles and wireframes to guide. My frames can be pretty off sometimes, especially with the shoulders, so I just adjust the body accordingly

I usually start with basic shapes and more crude faces and expressions. Once I have something interesting I detail the crude shapes until I have something ready to color :)

i usually draw basic shapes for characters and a very poorly version of what i have in head for a bg. then i just do a better version of what i have drawn over the previous one, and repeat it until it looks good enough

I have been using the 3D models in Clip Studio here and there, and on god they been saying my ass with time.

I don't fully copy the model down to the T, but try to reshape the body, or body part I'm looking at during the sketching phase, then I go from there.

Pure reliance on imagination ever since I was a kid. Creativity is my desire in art. I only use a stylus and/or a pencil when drawing anything without the aid of other tools. Cartoonish artstyles are my strongest form of illustrating over mature artstyles due to it's absolute freedom to get crazy with them. Picturing a situation then creating perspectives and angles if needed, shadowing, light and dark contrast and imagination. I always start with a circle first for a head then go from there. The rest is left up to my imagination with how the drawing will be finished. The only time I need to properly use body proportions is if I'm drawing a character for the first time.

I use Design Doll. I use it to create the skeleton of the image. It allows me to create basic bodys and cubes. Then I save it as a flat image and draw everything else on top of it.
