Of Captain Americas and Brave New Worlds XD

What up, Squad!
So yesterday (at the time of this journal’s posting), I caught ‘Captain America: Brave New World’
Boy I can’t wait to see the numerous vids on my recommendation list on YouTube about the grifters’ take on it; ‘How it’s Woke’, ‘How it’s a disaster’, ‘How the MCU is going extinct’, the same song and dance we’ve all heard so many times before I’m surprised nobody’s made a drinking game out of it. DISCLAIMER: PLEASE DON’T ACTUALLY MAKE A DRINKING GAME OUT OF IT. EVEN IF YOU’RE USING WATER/JUICE THERE’S SIMPLY TOO MUCH AND YOU’LL PROBABLY DIE. And I’ve always said this; go out a see things for yourself and make your own judgement, and don’t listen to the incels, racists, and grifters. Shoot, you don’t even have to take my word for it. I always say your mileage may vary, and indeed, some like it, some don’t. You can’t please everybody. And y’all should know me by now, I never go into ANY movie wanting to love/hate it. I just wanna have a good time watching something, and if the movie makes me wanna see it more than once and get it on DVD, then that’s enough for me
So what did I think of it? Well without going into Spoiler territory… I felt it was very solid. The emotions are there, as well as motivations for characters. Some have stated that some new characters weren’t integral to the story, even tho they’ve made a great impression on me and makes me wanna see more of ‘em. Some say it’s exposition-heavy, tho not really. These are the same idiots that’ll spout out that ‘nothing is ever explained’, wanting their hand to be held. Some have stated the movie’s boring. Nothing felt bogged down or dragged on to me, and I wasn’t bored one bit. I’m glad they brought characters back for this, and that made it a cohesive story. Now there were reshoots during production, and some have stated that they can spot differences. I haven’t, but I’m sure I’ll spot something little things while rewatching it. Or I’m just stupid, don’t rule that out yet. Sam Wilson IS Captain America, and this movie shows it. You got a problem with that and wanna say ‘He’s not MY Captain America!’? Last time I checked, you never owned the character, my dude. I really didn’t have any complaints. Again, I’m sure I might find something upon rewatching. That said, my only real complaint so far when watching it was a costume change, but that’s just a nitpick.
So yeah, like I said, your mileage may vary, but I say go check it out. If you like it, cool. If you don’t, cool. Just don’t make a 6 HOUR YouTube vid nitpicking every single mistake there was. I felt this movie was a very solid watch, and worthy of me of getting on DVD ^^
That’s my two cents on the matter. Thanks for your time. ^^

Regardless of that crap, I wanna see Ruth in other films ^^
I wasn't disappointed since I kinda predicted this movie was going to be just another MCU movie. They all have the same kind of pacing, the same kind of dialogue, the same kind of acting, the same kind of jokes, the same kind of atmosphere and etc. I understand I'm in the minority but when a lot of your movies feel like one another it feels very homogenized and not very interesting.
I know no one will agree but you know what I think they should do? I think they should just drop the MCU and just do experimental standalone movies. I saw a clip from Deadpool and Wolverine where it had the Hulk vs Wolverine. Boy, what I'd kill to see that as a standalone movie that doesn't set up any sequels.
