A Major Hurdle
Turns out that my major is shoving all the kids to a remote and dangerous satellite campus downtown, where all the tech stuff will be located from now on. It's a royal pain to get to because I live on the far edges of town practically, and downtown traffic well... need I say more? It also wasn't what I wanted my university experience to be like. I want to be on the main campus with everyone else, not sequestered off to some warehouse near the courthouse.
I... likely won't be staying a Computer Science major. But, as for what I'll switch to...? I don't know right now.
I'm just kind of crushed.

The crappy part is no other universities are as close as the one I planned, or plan, to attend. Nor are they as cheap (any private one's are double the cost.) They're even farther away and also in dangerous parts of town. I could look for an online program, but that defeats the whole point of going to a uni campus :(.
As for any backlash, I don't know if it'll happen to a point where they change their mind. If they do it'd be years down the road. Apparently this has been the plan of the uni for like 5ish years at least to move everything computer and tech related elsewhere. Big business is funding this new campus cuz they want to pipeline kids directly into tech jobs. I just don't feel like potentially getting mugged or stabbed during my time in education haha, and people have generally had complaints about the sattelite campus so... yeahhh
