yeah, yeah, I know most of you aren't having such a hot Christmas, but so far mine has been great! I've managed to avoid all but 1 silly gathering this year...(I hate those things) Just me the family and the furry friends (2 dogs and a horse) Tree is held up by presents this year...son getting one of those damned WII things....ok so I'm a lazy gamer, but I like to sit on my arse when I'm playing games and I think that he's got enough, but hell its what he wants and so be it. Ok, my darling is getting a lighthouse porcelain collection and a food thingy as well as a bunch of other little things...she's got me a new 21" lcd monitor for my pc so I can get rid of this 12 year old viewsonic pos. and there are others that i don't know about, but I can wait....
well here's hoping that you have a
Merry Christmas!

You don't have to move to play Wii games. That's only for certain games. And he, you can dowload the old NES/SNES/N64/SEGA Genesis/Other system games onto it.

Wireless. Though my friend has his wired. He has some kind of box to do that.

OP
does the wii have built in wireless or something....I haven't read the directions and am lazy....I have a port open on my router to plug in another device, but don't have cord that long and don't seem to see a place to put it in the wii anyway....hmm...must look deeper

Yeah, it's automatically wireless. If you click the Wii button on the bottom left, then click Settings (the button with the wrench), and look around in there, you should see Connection Options. You can set it up from there.

Just checked. Click the Wii button on the bottom left of the home menu. Then go to Wii Settings, the button on the right. Then either click the + on the screen (appears as a > on the screen until you hover over it) or push + on the Wii remote. You should see "Internet", and then from there, "Connection Settings".
