At least 300 dollars, I imagine! But I've not commissioned any animation lately, so I don't know

I think I paid around 70 for an 8 second animation but it wasn't in a style anything like yours. It was a lot simpler in style but possibly more complex in animation.
It depends on a lot of factors and it would be hard to say without seeing an example.

Unfortunately I don't think there's a clear-cut answer here, at least not without knowing more information.

- What FPS is it running at?
- How far apart are your cels? Do any replicate, or are they all unique?
- How large of an image is it?
- Is it a rotation of stagnate images, or is there character movement and layering?
- What would you normally charge on a character drawing featuring the art quality / amount being shown without animation as a factor?
- What % is the commission split? How much do you each hope to get from it?

I know I'm not much help, but when pricing it out I'd say think about all of these factors (and I'm sure there are some I'm forgetting, too) and do what feels right. Depending on how the above are answered, I could see anything from $100~$800+.

24 frames/second, all hand-drawn, the file is around 3000 by the biggest size. There is a fullbody drawn character with a cycle of 5 seconds. The simple scene with reading a magazine

I think it depends on several things! It's easy for me to justify $200-$500 for a hand-drawn animation of that size, particularly with a detailed style like yours. However, I have also see really talented artists use programs to animate drawings and charge that amount for something that's animated looking like a child's classroom decoration... ( Like those paper skeletons with little metal rings connecting the pieces and you can move the arms around )

So for me, it is definitely subjective based on how well it's done...

That depends highly on the type of animation. Animating an already existing piece by rigging it is very different from hand-animating something, for example - the effort is leagues apart.

В зависимости от того, что на самой анимации и какая технология используется: покадровая или скелетная, сколько фреймов нарисовано будет.. что еще помимо персонажа планируется.. в 5 секунд можно как луп какой-нибудь уложить, так и скелетную туда-сюда двигалку аля как в гача-играх. Но дешевить не советую, особенно если это коллаб. минимум 200$ на двоих на первый раз - чисто смотря от сложности и готовности аудитории. Чем сложнее работа - тем звонче монета.

Да, это зацикленная анимация с чтением журнала, но мы постарались сделать живенько и не однообразно. Это покадровая анимация, все сделано вручную, фреймов пока максимум 17 на одну движущуюся часть тела, но это черновой вариант

живенькое чтение журнала.. 17 фреймов на часть тела.. хмм.. вы плавнее ее хотите сделать? Не как в аниме? Смотрите там, если много экшона сделать, много инфы (движений, событий) и залупить это дело на 5 секунд - это будет весьма сложно воспринимать.

На мой взгляд, там все хорошо, но возможно мы чуток растянем ее
