You got lucky. We weren’t able to get a room Thursday or Sunday. Thursday I can maybe understand, but not Sunday though. However they did have rooms Sunday at the non-convention rates though. Sounds a bit fishy to me.

We ended up just booking outside the con block, as we could only secure Friday & Saturday too lol. Went for a suite, since there's gonna be 5 of us, splitting the non-con-rate suite 5 ways isn't bad tbh!

We’ll be there fri-Sun. Thursday we’ll be spending in Niagara Falls, as we plans for Brasa then. I only regret that we’ll likely miss opening ceremonies.

Less than 2 weeks for us, because we're heading up early so I can do some work at my company's office in Mississauga. Plus, yano... getting to comp what would have otherwise been personal travel. x3
