i do not recommend getting hit with a huge dose of self-loathing over having hearing issues thanks to a poorly-edited video the night before planning on going to a convention where there are going to be lots of people
it's a pretty miserable experience and a good way to kill your enthusiasm hard (it took me at least two hours to get out of bed today)

will update this journal if i do decide to attend vf after all, but today definitely wasn't a good day for it
