My father's a die hard Trump fan and also a Vietnam veteran who is applauding DOGE's quest to slash governmental programs and departments in the name of efficiency. I'm wondering if I should feel schadenfreude (glee at another's misery) if in the name of such efficiency some of his VA programs (especially at the clinics he goes to) are cut.
