Umm, apparently there isnt one going on that I know of. There is a private party at a furs place, and a few others, but no actual OFFICIAL LAFF new years that I know of. I'm going out to Indy and getting drunk :P

well i got this in a email for the LAFF list

--2009 has come and soon it will be over. In it's place will come a new year,
ripe with new possibilities and new experiences. So why not welcome the new
year with friends and fellow furs!

This year we will be hosting the Annual LAFF New Years Eve meet at the
beautiful Residence Inn Chicago Oak Brook in Oak Brook IL. This fine venue
offers us a 1000 sq-ft meeting space to host our party, including counters
for food service, and access till late into the early morning, provided we
keep the noise level down. Of course you can have a suite night and choose
from one of the available Studio suites available for as low as $79 for the
night. The large spacious rooms have a table, and a full kitchen
available. For those who do decide to get a room, they have a pool, workout
room and a jacuzzi to chill out in, and in the morning, a delicious
hot breakfast. And can't forget the internets. THey Offer Free WiFi as well.

Cost: $15 for Pre-Registration, $25 at the Door. Rooms are $79 a night for a
Studio Suite (Contact me if interested in a One Bedroom)

We will have snack foods at the event. But we are near many many places that
you can go for dinner. The Hotel is also near the exits for both Highway 88
and 294. This IS A DRY EVENT. No Alcoholic Beverages are permitted in the
event space, but you may have it in your own rooms. Just be responsible with
it. Excessive noise and other drunken things will reflect very badly upon
our group.

$25 is way too much for a few hours at a dry event and no mention of food. I'd rather get wasted with friends, spending the $25 on booze or food.
