Will/Won't Draw Update: Humans

SO THIS NEEDS CLARIFYING...
It's not that I dislike humans or human character, etc...
it's just that I DON'T really like drawing them.
There's something about human faces and anatomy that always just looks weird to me when I try to do it, and it always ends up making the process a slog.
And the number of times I've been asked to draw a human character despite like 99.99% of my art being furry...?
Regardless, I've removed 'Humans/Human-faced" characters from my "Will Draw" list and they are not in the "Probably Not".
I'm not gonna outright say I'll NEVER draw them. I have several friends with very cute characters and such...
but as far as commissions I think I'd prefer people find other artists if you want your human-esque character drawn. It's just not my specialty.
I like drawing snoots n muzzles n big chompies. Lol.

totally get it. I was surprised at how it felt confusing to draw a human face again after so long of drawing anthros. you really do have to come at the geometry differently in your mind. I used to only draw anime figures growing up too, and it's still a weird switch for me!

Thats fine. But what of say... Mecha? Like mobile suits from mobile suit gundam...?

We are very used to seeing human features in our daily lives. It is ingrained into our psyche and instincts to be able to recognize human features. Therefore the bar is actually very high to do them without feeling put off. Obviously the uncanny valley thing going on. I don't really draw humans either as the very fact we are regularly exposed to them that I just find it exceptionally boring!
