[OUTDATED AND INACCURATE] Desperately need help

So. Car battery died a few days ago because of a winter storm. Jump started it earlier today and it was working fine even for a short test drive, but some hours later and it’s dead again. Talked to a friend that works with cars for a living and she said it could be the battery OR the alternator so. lol. lmao.
Between this and car insurance and rent and bills I’m trying to raise money again so that I can actually, you know, get to work and dr appointments and grocery shopping ahaha.

battery is DEF needing replaced but the way it isn’t starting right now it might ALSO be the alternator which. Sucks. Bc that’s a second payment of $150-$200 if not more depending on labor fees bc I def don’t think I can put both of those in by myself. Im.
