***** PLEASE, PLEASE GO CHECK MY SCRAPS! *****
It is for all my WORKS IN PROGRESS, GIFTS, and stuff I am just banging off as practice, as well as photos, and art from others.
==============================================
~ BEGIN ~ A week ago Saturday night, my phone fell out of my pocket while I was sitting at my computer chair, and when I pushed my chair back i ran over and destroyed the screen.
I immediately ordered the same old phone from an on line vendor via my friends Amazon (I don't have an account and she insists I have a phone).
today I got to have disappointment when i opened up the packaged (which had been sitting at the distribution hub since Friday)..
it was not the phone i ordered.. similar, but not the same, and still just as old as the one I wanted to replace.
but I could have got this phone cheaper elsewhere.
So, given that I am on a tight budget, and low end or refurbished phone ideas?
I am coming from a Galaxy Note 9. The most complicated thing I ran on it was Pokemon Go.

FA+

I really want something that I can use for a few years.
I am happy with anything really on par with the Note 9.
her's was in worse shape than mine before i ran over my own..
plus there are other problems.. the charging port is dying.
only have one cable left that can reliably charge the phone now, and its a crappy dollar store one.
They usually aren't cheap to buy new (the duraforce ultra we have now cost $900), but you might be able to find one a few years old for less.
Alternatively, a Fairphone might be worth considering. Instead of being indestructible, they're designed to be easily and cheaply repairable. They're not terribly expensive phones either; I think they run about $300 brand new. They only started being marketed in the US as of a year or so ago though, so anything prior to the current model would have to be a european import. They also aren't compatible with all networks; I know they don't work with verizon for instance. Pretty sure they do with tmobile or att, though.
