bsky staying suspended

just updating from the last journal, they told me the decision was final and there was no reversing it lmao.
In my appeal to them I specifically stated the creatures I draw are fictional and my style is far from realism. This apparently isn't good enough for their moderation and they told me I was still promoting bestiality and that my account was remaining suspended. They also had the lovely condescension to tell me to "review our community guidelines to better understand the expectations we have for user behavior on our platform" - like bro you suspended my account, it doesn't matter. I can't interact with the damn community anyway!
side note: guess I'm gonna be uploading here a lot more!!!!!!

I labeled my account as explicit and I made sure to add the integrated content warnings to my work.
I changed my featured submission to be the drawing that I think was the likely reported culprit. Notice that I said likely - Bsky mods didn't tell me what activity of mine was specifically 'promoting bestiality', they just said my activity.
I read the guidelines top to bottom, even the TOS, prior to posting my werewolf art. there is no explicit mention of sexual content featuring animal-like characters being prohibited.
I received no warning what so ever about it. I had checked my bsky account the night before and everything was fine. I checked my email around 11:30 AM PST to get my 2FA because I noticed I got logged out and that's when I saw the email telling me my account had been suspended. This was my first 'offense' too, I had no infractions against my account prior to this suspension.
I'm aware it's one of my more ambiguous pieces. I offered to delete the offending post in my appeal. The fact they went nuclear on an ambiguous drawing is the problem here.

To anyone who thinks I 'deserved' this, I literally don't give a shit. I'm going to keep drawing monster dicks. What I do give a shit about is how poorly the moderation team is handling this. It's one thing if they gave me a detailed reason and provided me with the offending posts, it's another to ban me under a vague, blanket of a statement, refuse to elaborate, and not even consider my appeal. At that point, are they following the sites guidelines or their own personal biases? Just because you think this won't affect you because you aren't affiliated with furries or don't like feral art doesn't mean that'll be the case forever. Look at Patreon/Tumblr/etc.

Ive seen it somewhere before, and I think every website operates under this.
There is very likely a reason, maybe even something to do with their TOS.....but they will never explain it.
I'm annoyed because I would've liked to move away from twitter but clearly that's not an option.

Just make it and don't post the stuff that walks the line over there. If you someone get the same asshole moderator who has enough time to clock your work as the same stuff before you get banned and move on. But if they aren't willing to explain things to you I doubt they are paying all that much attention to begin with.
yeah my best friend offered to let me repost art on her account since she hasn't been using it for anything so I was gonna give it a few days to.. 'cool off' so to say before testing it out again. as you say, the worst they can do is just ban me again ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You're my fav terato artist and I was really happy to see your posts again.. overall I do like bsky but the moderation seems arbitrary at times.
Though I'm glad you will be uploading here more! I like viewing and interacting with artwork on this kind/format of site way more.
And yeah! I figure might as well focus on the sites that aren't actively hostile toward my body of work. Only thing is I still haven't gotten over the awkward feeling of uploading humanxhuman stuff here 😂
Side note, and absolutely fine if not, do you have an archive somewhere of your work? I know some people don't post everything to FA. With the increasingly aggressive takedowns of NSFW artists I've been trying to archive people's work for this exact scenario and I had only just seen that you had a blue sky like days before the takedown lol
I personally am in the process of setting up a NextCloud storage to get away from Google after seeing some other people lose access to their Google accounts after someone with beef reported them for sharing NSFW content. (Even just like, normal porn commissions). Nextcloud is just like Google drive but you can self host it, or use a virtual server like hetzner's cloud storage.(https://www.hetzner.com/storage/storage-share/)
Other than that, a self hosted gallery or website, but that takes some technical skillsets that I know not everyone has
and yeah...I think I have ENOUGH knowledge on how to do that but it's just a matter of figuring out how to approach it. im mainly more upset bc it was nice for the community aspect of other artists ;_; i wanted to try and be more social on bsky orz

It really annoys me they accuse me of promoting it when I never once made any statement telling people to go fuck animals irl. Simply by virtue of drawing a werewolf fucking a human means I'm endorsing the actual act 🙄
They do ban actual zoophiles who post RL pics. Ok, that’s great, but they’re still going on “we just don’t like it” vs having clear rules and that is dangerous.

Honestly people can say what they want to say! vague enforcement of powers like this sets an extremely bad precedent for censorship. we all see how that turned out with patreon and their stupid consent rule for example.

I hope you consider Mastodon! There are a few great feral porn artists (and me!) on https://packmates.org and it's run by a feral therian fur, so this thing will never happen over there.
Regardless, I'm enraged at bluesky for somehow being worse than twitter for feral folks. Their behavior is immature, unprofessional, utterly unfounded, and frankly a tad fascistic. You and your art deserve so much better than this!
