Commissions are open indefinitely. I lost my job friday with no warning and no severance. My partner is disabled and cannot work (he is diabetic, blind and chronically ill). Until I can find a new fulltime job, we will be relying on his disability income + commissions. I have already applied at my old job, the bookstore, but if it doesn't pay more than unemployment will, I may have to bite the bullet and keep looking for something else stable.

I cannot stress enough how much this sucks, we do not have savings, I have never been fired or let go before because I am a hard, dependable worker and the breadwinner of our household. Anything helps us stay afloat for now so I will have a lengthy list here of different options and will try my best to come up with a price sheet somehow, it's just difficult because I do such a giant variety of work..
