In the "News" bar, they also have Clippys of Fender, the site mascot, advising users to go outside and touch grass. :D

There's sumting to be said about using extensions to customize your browser's appearance in that you can override site settings for your preferred fonts.

In case you're serious, they put up a childlike, oversized drawing of mascot Fender for the header, and used Comic Sans as the sitewide font.

For those wondering: there's been so much chatter aboutt folks liking the "new" font that if y'all wanna keep it: click the cog on the upper right and go to ACCOUNT SETTINGS then ACCOUNT PERSONALIZATION. "Comic Neue" will become your new sitewide font. Weeeeee~!

Not to be a party pooper here but, from what they say, it makes it easier for people with dyslexia to read. As a lifetime sufferer of color blindness... having career hopes ruined... and having to explain a zillion times that I can see color... just not the same as everyone else with normal vision... PLUS all the stupid things I've had to deal with when someone DOESN'T consider a world of visual deficiencies and you cannot see the print because of the color of the page...

Then I'm all for the change. Although I am glad they made it an option and not a feature.

Yes, it is difficult to imagine how the world looks to other people, because we can only ever see it through our own eyes.

Not the type... the color contrasts on some website's pages. TBPH, anything where shades of similar colors are used. I can give you 2 examples that 'shine a light' on the effect;
Traffic lights. As long as they're standard... Red, Yellow, Green, they're pretty easy and I have no problems. However... when it's an intersection light... singular in nature... for example, a 4 way or 2 way stop... and it's night so you cannot see well enough to see the stopsigns before you get close enough... then I could not tell you what color the light is... red or yellow. The lenses they use are too similar if they're not side by side for me to compare. So I ALWAYS slow down, just in case. I've even stopped (much to the dismay of the car behind me) at a caution light at those kinds of intersections.
Or if I'm asked 'what color car is that?' Without any other color to compare, I could call a maroon color red OR brown... depending on the light.
I see shade variances easily enough when I can compare... but when left to decide a singular color with no comparison... let's just say I shouldn't be the one cutting the wire on the bomb.
