Why did you pick what you did as your fursona ?

When I was 1st I troductd to anthro by a friend, from what he was showing on his desktop screen my thoughts
"Oh this looks fun a group of people who believe themselves to be animals, I want to join in"
And I just had my.mind set if I did join the fandom that it would be as a female fox
