Currency change from $ to €

Hi Peeps!
I am making an official note stating that I am changing the currency for my commissions from USD to EUR.
I didn’t want to do it, but unfortunately due to global economic politics the dollar has been tanking hard for a while now and this affects me and my business in a big way.
So in order to keep affording bills and food € will be on my commission price sheet for now.

Either way, currency conversion isn't a huge deal any more, all the payment sites do it but they all charge a percentage to do it which is money that ain't in your pocket.
Maybe worthwhile to give a heads up about that, and how you can oftentimes choose where the conversion takes place. Bank I use does it for 3%, while paypal was 10% for a while.
Unfortunately I'm stuck with PayPal for now, still haven't found a better option even though there were some popping up at times.
Well see how things go, get ready for the worse and hope for the best.
Back then it was by typing "850 gbp" into the 'payment' box rather than letting it default to a dollar sign.
The visa charge for the conversion was significantly less than paypal's. If you've got a bank account linked to your paypal account and you're getting your money out of paypal that way, there's likely an option to send "500 usd" to your bank from your paypal to have your bank do the currency exchange at a better rate than paypal's.
All in the past if you've standardized on one currency, making this advice better suited for your customers than you, heh.
Still something to keep in mind to keep a little more money in your pocket rather than the payment processor's if you do find yourself doing such foreign transaction things again.
Such is life xD
I'm just curious, but at any point, did you consider just simply raising the price denominated in USD?
I did recently raise my prices to when EUR-USD were pretty similar, now EUR is at the same level more or less and USD is falling, so I feel as I remain at the same price, unfortunately the prices will rise for the US :/ I don't feel good about it but being a micro business what I earn does affect me and my style takes longer than I'd sometimes like XP
