Tell you what? To most people, especially from other continents, there is no difference between Russia, Ukraine and Belarus from the quick glance. No difference at all. So apparently they could think of Ukrainians as some ethnic minority.
Okay, there also may be another camp, and that is Russian imperial believers. I won't explain anything about these, there's enough dirt out there in plain sight. All nations are equal to each other, let's settle with that

Man I'm 100% on your side here. I was just trying to explain the situation from different angles. It wouldn't hurt to lay off the emotions and look from other sides. Or maybe get off the internet for a day or two... it does help the sanity sometimes.

We are 3 DIFFERENT nations. I can speak both Ukrainian and Russian (colonial influence) and there are A LOT of difference between these 2 languages.

People are too stupid to know history. Most people (AMERICANS) don't even know about the Kyivan Rus' and how they were living along the Dnipro River long before Muscovy existed. To those who think Russian and Ukrainian culture are the same, why did the Russians try and destroy Ukrainian poets, writers, bandurists and kobzars for over 300 years?

I am just tired of some people feeling sorry for Russian soldiers - those, who are DIRECTLY responsible for deaths and destruction. Or when Russian culture is praised while Ukrainian ine is ignored/hated.
