no, i know where to buy them (not ebay these days, everybody's running an overpriced grift it seems and i've gotten lied to in descriptions, such as i want my 30 bucks back for the "working" cassette recorder that dips the volume on its own- ebay has to fix this grifter infestation it has if it wants my trust back- if the same sellers sold at flea markets and had to directly deal with their customers i think their shady business practices would go sunny in rapid order) i just don't know anything about them like i do reel to reels and cassette decks. electronics folks had ways of talking about this stuff that parsed to me back when i started getting into this stuff more seriously but since then the online spaces got overrun with n00bz babbling and i can't follow them nor do they ever seem to know what they're talking about. i was a n00b like them too but i kept my maw shut and listened & learned instead, but i haven't been able to find my folks in these scenes for years.
