From Toronto, Apple of Basilisk has a review about a newly released album, His Crowned Skull Raised to the Sun. It's available on Bandcamp for those into a band that has "built a foundation atop black metal and sludge metal, albeit far removed from the former’s naturalism and the latter’s southern bend.". I think I've referred to this band before, since this is their second album (their first was Crowned Sloth).

While this isn't a new song, someone pointed out to me a track from a group named Orgone, just titled Basilisk. It has one of the...less flattering heraldic versions right by the letter K of the album cover but it's the thought that counts. Thanks,  Obonic
