Terms of Service Update - 04/16/2025

I've updated my Terms of Service, based on how I've been doing things!
Here is a rundown of the changes I've made:
Contact Info:
+ Added my Contact Information for how to reach me with inquiries
Consent for Use
+ Copyrighted characters - I am willing to include copyrighted characters at my discretion. (Yes, I wrote a story with Wile E. Coyote, and I had fun doing it.)
Pricing:
+ Extended Rates - Extended rate will take effect for any commission exceeding 5,000 words. The first 5,000 words will be charged at the base rate of $0.025/word, then anything beyond that will be charged the extended rate of $0.04/word
+ Extended Rates - Clarification about when commissions will incur the extended rate of $0.04/word. If it's close to 5,000 words, I will generally opt to charge the base rate of $0.025.
Deposit:
+ Flat fee deposit - Flat fee is now only required for commissions where the proposed amount is $150 or greater. Any commission lower than $150 will no longer require an upfront deposit.
Writing Process:
+ Origination - Included explanation to have a budget in mind when you contact me for a commission. I need to know how much I have to work with!
+ Origination - Added right to refuse a commission if I feel the request will not be possible within the budget offered
+ Origination - Included agreement that I will not exceed the quoted price unless the commissioner agrees to modify the quote
+ Origination - Updated deposit requirements to reflect above change of $150 or greater
- Outline - Removed outdated outline example, it's old and I no longer follow this method

+ Attribution Requirements - Added requirement to link to my gallery or social media if you post my commissioned work anywhere. Seriously, please attribute artists for their work, it's how we get new clients!
