This is simply a journal to reassure some commenters I have seen over the years. Nothing is changing about their use, I am putting it here for posterity.
Digidevil usage that is allowed:
*You are allowed to design, characterize, and gift Digidevil designs for free for any reason, of any kind, indefinitely.
*You are allowed to make any form of art of your own Digidevils, be it drawing, animation, sculpting, plush, etc.
*You are always allowed to create NSFW art of your digidevil characters.
*You are allowed to use Digidevils in any setting, for any reason, even major original projects or series, as long as I am given credit for the original species creation. Show me these, I'd love to see them.
*You are allowed to commission artists to draw, animate, sculpt, make plush of, etc. any digidevil you own or have permission to use.
*You are allowed to create free mods for any video game that depict Digidevil characters you own or have permission to use.
*You are allowed to create Digidevil characters for video games you have made as long as the video game is free and I am given credit for the species.
Digidevil usage that is NOT allowed:
*You may NOT sell, resell, or make monetary customs or adoptables of digidevils without my consent.
*You may NOT create merchandise [digital or physical] of Digidevil characters without my consent.
*You may NOT put digidevils into a monetized game [free with in game purchases, subscription services, or paid games in general] without my consent.
*You may NOT use Digidevil characters or art for NFTs, AI, or other crypto-related reasons, ever, for any reason.
Selling digidevil designs is, notably, a consent-based operation. I do not like people monetizing my art and hard work without my permission, and simply asking will earn you favor. I am okay with pretty much any usage of this species as long as it is not for profit. They are meant for everyone to enjoy, not to make money off of; the only reason I make customs or occasional adoptables of Digidevils is if people ask for them. Please, have fun and be kind to each other!
