Do you believe...

Do you believe that an artist's artwork reflects his personality and a little bit of his physical appearance?
Perhaps you've heard of the house tree person test. If you notice how artists color, people who use dark tones in especially in the background tend to be emo or depressed. Those who use bright colors tend to be more cheerful. People who draw characters without much movement tend to be rigid and obsessive compulsive while people who draw with much motion tend to be resilient and creative.
I've noticed that for a lot of artists, including me, may show a little more of what we look like IRL especially those without rigorous art training. For example, it would be noticeable that artists with robust body types tend to draw characters a little more "chunky" the features are rounder rather than streamlined even if they do draw muscle art. I personally have an issue with my eyes not being of equal size which reflects on some of my drawings try as i might to draw them equally. Others tend to draw the opposite of what they are such that chubby people IRL may draw extremely skinny characters (in psychology we have a term called reaction formation which may help explain that phenomenon).
At least it's from what I see. I dunno, what do you guys think? =3
