his species? who the hell cares! the lack of definitivity is the point.
if you attempt to categorize matkap into just one species, you sort of lose the point of what makes him special to me.

is matkap a rat? not specifically. a possum? also not specifically. a dog? not specifically. cat? not specifically. anything?

"is matkap anything?" you might ask.

I frequently answer this question with "he's a Matkap" or with an indirect joke.

Matkap is everything and something new at the same time. The new part? He's a statement.
His species is a statement, not only against definitivity, but also that you don't have to be anything specific to be a furry.

Sometimes you can just be you.
Sometimes, you can just be mixed. And you don't have to explain yourself to anyone.
