Yadni's Junkyard has a lot of nifty free things, including a few simple avatars. Just do a Find, Places, "yadni" to search for it.

There's a lot of choice when it comes to making your avatar furry.

A good place to start is to teleport to Furnation Prime and look around for the store, or ask anyone you can see to help you out. There's also the Valley sims- On the map, Try typing in Fox Valley and then hitting Enter, you should be zoomed to a clump of regions with a furry theme. You can do this for any region name.

Two major places for buying furry avatars are Luskwood (in the Lusk region) and Lost Furest (in the Sables d'Allez region). You can use your Find tool to get to them, 'cause they're advertised.
