Funny, I own that fat cat 3 pack book! You can read Garfield comics online at GoComics, and if you want to read the comics in that particular volume, it'd be December 5, 1990, thru September 5th, 1992. I have the old fat cat 3 pack that's printed in a horizontal book and is in black and white, but you could probably find a newer reprint that's larger and in color online or in a Barnes and Noble. If you're looking for the old style books though, you might have luck finding them in a Half Price Books or other used book store if you want it cheap and not online.

Also, for some reason, I can't actually get the website to go to those specific dates. When I use the date slider to go to said dates, it bugs out and I can't click on anything. If you look at the "Garfield" tab on the website, some of the months are greyed out.

I bought the B&W version yesterday and it should be here in like a week. Ultimately, I'm trying to collect all the fat cat 3-packs, the ones printed by Nickelodeon. The color ones you often see everywhere. The volume #8 is out of print, so it's like 130$ in color pretty much everywhere. I do plan on buying it soon, but I wanted to read the comic first!

I want to read it online just to see what the fuss is about. It's the only volume that is out of print. Reading the top amazon comment on the listing for #8 sheds a lot of light on why it's out of print, and the jokes sound SOOOOOO FUNNY!
